Caron 's background is in business litigation, and when she founded Woodward Law in 2008, she was able to shift her focus to assisting clients with probate-related matters, while maintaining her zest for advocating for clients in contested matters.
Caron is the editor of the North County Lawyer magazine, and serves as a mediator for the San Diego Superior Court.
With a strong commitment to community service, Caron is an active volunteer at the Temporary Restraining Order Clinic in the Vista Courthouse, and represents guardianship clients for the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program.
She is also a proud member of the American Inns of Court, Lopardo chapter, the San Diego County Bar Association, the North County Bar Association, Probate Attorneys of San Diego, and the Irish American Bar Association.
Caron has served as a Director on several boards on the community, including the San Diego Gay Men's Chorus and the Greater San Diego Business Association. Caron is on the Board of Directors for Mama's Kitchen and currently serving as chair of the Development Committee.
Caron was named the 2017 Lawyer of the Year by the Bar Association of Northern San Diego County. In 2019, Caron received the Best Wordsmith Award from the Bar Association, and in 2023 was the recipient of the bar association's President's Award.
